Veowe

How it works

How Veowe works, step by step

Veowe turns debt and savings into visual projects you can watch progress. You can track entirely manually, connect a supported current account read-only through open banking, or mix both with hybrid tracking. Veowe never moves money or makes repayments.

1. Create a money project

A money project is one debt you want to clear or one savings goal — a credit card, a loan, an overdraft, a buy-now-pay-later balance, a family debt, an emergency fund or a holiday pot. Give it a name and pick a category so it's easy to spot in your list.

You can set it up in one of three ways: manually, by connecting a supported current account read-only, or with hybrid tracking — connect your main bank account and link detected outgoing payments to a manual project after you confirm them. Can't find your bank, card, loan or provider? Add it manually — Veowe still works.

2. Enter the amount and payment schedule

Add the original debt amount, the current balance, your regular payment, and how often you pay (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). Veowe takes care of the maths.

You can also add the APR and minimum payment, but these are optional in the MVP.

3. Choose a visual animation

Pick the picture that motivates you — a wall, a progress bar, scales, a mountain, a foundation rebuild, a jar or a calm mood light. You can change it at any time without affecting your data.

4. Confirm payments

When a scheduled payment is due, Veowe prompts a quick check-in. Confirm it, log an overpayment, snooze for 24 hours, skip without judgement, or pause the schedule entirely.

5. Watch progress update

Every confirmed payment animates your visual, updates your streak and recalculates your projected cleared date. Overpayments trigger a stronger pulse.

6. Adjust when life changes

Pause, increase a balance, cancel a schedule or mark the debt as cleared whenever you need. Veowe treats setbacks calmly — the app is built to keep you engaged, not to shame you.
