What Veowe can and can't do

Veowe is a calm, visual tool for tracking debts and savings and learning money concepts in plain English. It is not a regulated financial or debt advice service.

Veowe can help you

  • Track debts and savings manually
  • Understand APR, interest, minimum payments, overdrafts and BNPL in plain English
  • Compare general payoff methods like snowball and avalanche
  • Build visual habits around payments and savings
  • See your progress without spreadsheets

Veowe cannot

  • Tell you which debt or creditor to pay first
  • Tell you which debt solution is right for you
  • Provide personalised financial advice or debt advice
  • Negotiate with lenders
  • Arrange or manage repayment plans
  • Make payments to creditors
  • Recommend loans, credit cards, consolidation products, or BNPL providers

How Veowe tracks your money

You can use Veowe entirely manually, connect a supported current account read-only, or mix both — connect your main account and link detected outgoing payments to a manual debt or savings project after you confirm them.

Three ways to track — all equally supported

Veowe still works even when your bank, card or loan provider is not available yet. You always get the same visual progress, timeline and check-ins.

  • Connected account

Link a supported current account read-only through open banking. Veowe sees balance and transaction data — never passwords — and can suggest payments to confirm.

  • Manual project

For unsupported cards, loans, BNPL, store cards, family debts, savings goals, emergency funds or informal repayments. Set your usual payment once — Veowe keeps the visual progress moving from your plan.

  • Hybrid tracking

Connect your main current account, then link detected outgoing payments to a manual project after you confirm them. You stay in control of every match.

Veowe uses open banking connections only with your permission. Veowe does not move money, make repayments, provide regulated financial advice, or change your bank account. Connected data is used to help you understand and update your visual money projects.

Can't find your bank, card, loan or provider? Add it manually — Veowe still works.

When debt feels too much

Veowe is not a debt advice service. If debt feels unmanageable, free, independent and confidential help is available in the UK:

  • StepChange
  • MoneyHelper
  • Citizens Advice
  • National Debtline
See region-aware support links

This is general education, not personalised financial or debt advice. Veowe doesn't recommend which debt to pay or which method to use — you decide what feels right. If debt feels unmanageable, free, confidential support is available from StepChange, MoneyHelper, Citizens Advice and National Debtline.
